Inside La Grange
Sleeping: The cottage accommodates up to 6 people comprising of 3 bedrooms, 1 double en-suite and 1 adjoining twin upstairs and 1 double en-suite downstairs. The stylish comfortable beds are complete with quilts and English pillows. The linen sets provided include cotton sheets and pillow cases. There is also a sofa bed in the living area if required for more than 6 people, (extra cost for linen). Travel light……All bath, hand and swimming towels provided.
Bathrooms: The cottage has 2 bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. To pamper yourself, the en-suite bathrooms are newly fitted and have large walk-in showers, twin wash basins and heated towel rails. The upstairs bathroom also has a large bath to relax in. Fluffy bath and hand towels, bath mat and even pool towels are provided.
Entertainment: Relax on one of the comfortable sofas and watch English (Sky Freeview) or French television, play a DVD or listen to one of your own CDs on the stereo system. There is a large library of books for your use and enjoyment. Bring your own MP3 player and plug it into the music system.
Eating and Living: The open plan kitchen is equipped to a high standard including electric oven and fitted gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge with useful size freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as kitchen linen.
A good range of stainless steel saucepans and quality knife set in a block are provided. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.
There is a large dining table with 6 chairs for your meals.
Heating: There is wood burner in the living area and two oil filled heaters are also provided for the cooler months.
Smoking: No smoking allowed inside the cottage.
Safety: Smoke Alarms and fire extinguishers are installed.
Outside La Grange
Outside Cuisine: A barbecue and utensils are provided for your use.
Outside Furniture: There is a table and six chairs.
Swimming Pool: The 11x6m saline (saltwater) swimming pool is an ideal place to relax during the day. There are comfortable sun loungers, parasols and a large abri providing a shady area to relax in. At night the pool really comes alive with the underwater lights which bring out the best of the blue mosaics. The swimming pool fully complies with recent French safety legislation. (Normally open June – September)
Jacuzzi (Hot Tub): Relax in the evening with a glass of bubbly in our new 6 seater Jacuzzi / Hot tub. The natural way to relax and unwind… feel the benefits.
Laundry Room: A laundry room with 2 washing machine is available next to the cottage.
Parking: You may park your car in the old barn but you can drive up to the cottage for unloading and packing.
