Inside La Ferme
Sleeping: The farmhouse accommodates up to 8 people and comprises of 4 bedrooms, 3 double and 1 twin with 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Stylish comfortable double beds are complete with quilts and English pillows. The linen sets provided include cotton sheets and pillow cases. One double bedroom is downstairs. Travel light……All bath, hand and swimming towels are provided.
Bathrooms: The farmhouse has 2 large bathrooms upstairs. There is also a separate WC downstairs. To pamper yourself, the en-suite and family bathroom are newly fitted and have large baths and walk-in showers, twin wash basins and heated towel rails. Fluffy bath and hand towels, bath mat and even pool towels are provided.
Entertainment: Relax on one of the comfortable sofas in the separate living area and watch English (Sky Freeview) or French television, play a DVD or listen to one of your own CDs on the stereo system. There is a large library of books and DVDs for your use and enjoyment. Bring your own MP3 player and plug it into the music system. There is also a television in the kitchen.
Eating and Living: There is large separate dining room with a large table and 8 chairs for entertaining.
The separate living area has plenty of sofas and there is a log burner that can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere during the cooler months.
The large separate kitchen is equipped to a high standard including electric oven and fitted gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge with useful size freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as kitchen linen.
A good range of stainless steel saucepans and a quality knife set in a block are provided. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and dryer where you will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board.
In the kitchen, There is a large dining table with 6 chairs for your meals and a log burner that can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere.
Heating: There is wood burner in the kitchen and living area and the farmhouse has central heating in all rooms during the months required.
Smoking: No smoking allowed inside the farmhouse.
Safety: Smoke Alarms and fire extinguishers are installed.
Internet: There is WiFI internet for your own computers and also a computer for your use that is connected.
Telephone: There is a telephone for incoming use. Outgoing calls can be allowed with prior agreement
Outside La Ferme
Outside Cuisine: A barbecue and utensils are provided for your use.
Outside Furniture: There is a large table and eight chairs within the outside undercover area. There are spectacular views of the rolling countryside.
Swimming Pool: The 11x6m saline (saltwater) swimming pool is an ideal place to relax during the day.
There are comfortable sun loungers, parasols and a large abri providing a shady area to relax in. At night the pool really comes alive with the underwater lights which bring out the best of the blue mosaics.
The swimming pool fully complies with recent French safety legislation. (Normally open June – September)
Jacuzzi (Hot Tub): Relax in the evening with a glass of bubbly in our new 6 seater Jacuzzi / Hot tub. The natural way to relax and unwind… feel the benefits.
Parking: You may park your car in the old barn in the courtyard but you can drive up to the house for unloading and packing.
